Trailborn Gift Card Terms & Conditions
The following are the terms and conditions applicable to Castle Peak Holdings LLC (“Trailborn”) gift cards and electronic gift cards (each, a “Gift Card” and, collectively, “Gift Cards”) (“Terms and Conditions”). Gift Cards are issued by MI Fulfillment Services, LLC. By purchasing or using a Gift Card and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also agree to the class action waiver contained in Section 11 below.
1. General Terms
The terms “Cardholder”, “you” and “your” refer to the person who purchased the Gift Card and/or the person who is using the Gift Card. The terms “us”, “we” and “our” refer to Trailborn. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Gift Cards. By purchasing, accepting or using a Gift Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Trailborn may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its discretion. Trailborn will provide the updated Terms and Conditions by posting the updated Terms and Conditions on this page, and the updated Terms and Conditions will be effective upon posting. The posting of the updated Terms and Conditions will constitute notice to you of the updated Terms and Conditions. You must check this page for any updates to the current Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept any updates made to the Terms and Conditions, you must contact us by email at support@trailborn.com or call our Guest Support team at 1-877-735-8044 (Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time) and Trailborn will cancel your Gift Cards and refund any remaining balance to you as required by law.
2. Purchase of Gift Cards
Gift Cards may be purchased online at trailborn.com in a variety of denominations. Gift Cards purchased online will be digital Gift Cards delivered via email (to the email address you provided) after completing your purchase. Gift Cards may also be purchased at the front desk of any Trailborn hotel.
The maximum value that can be associated with any one gift card is two thousand United States dollars ($1,000.00). We may restrict the amount of Trailborn gift cards you can purchase in any single calendar day.
3. Redemptions
Gift Cards may be used at participating Trailborn hotels, restaurants, bars and lounges (“Participating Locations”) including:
- Trailborn Surf & Sound
- Trailborn Highlands
- Trailborn Grand Canyon
- Trailborn Rocky Mountain
- La Duna Paradiso at Trailborn Surf & Sound
- Highlands Supper Club at Trailborn Highlands
- Miss Kitty’s at Trailborn Grand Canyon
- Casa Colina at Trailborn Rocky Mountain
The following Trailborn hotels DO NOT currently accept Gift Cards:
- Trailborn Rocky Mountain Outpost
Gift Cards are redeemable online at www.trailborn.com and at participating locations for room reservations and eligible purchases of onsite amenities such as dining, retail (including retail items from Trailborn markets) and other activities. Eligible purchases do not include advanced purchases, deposits, securing a room reservation, online travel agency reservations, crew rates, payments for meetings, catering or group functions, or negotiated rates (including volume, group, contracted, or other rates that have been previously negotiated and agreed in writing whether paid on a group or individual basis). You may not use a Gift Card to purchase a Gift Card.
While Gift Cards may be used and redeemed at the Participating Locations listed above, Gift Cards may not be used or redeemed at third-party establishments, including third-party establishments located within or on the same property as a Participating Location (e.g., coffee shops, boutiques, etc.), including ticketed events or pre-booked experiences delivered by a third party at a Participating Location. Participating Locations are subject to change in Trailborn’s sole discretion.
Trailborn reserves the right to institute additional security and verification procedures at the time of Gift Card redemption for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance purposes.
4. Gift Cards
Gift Cards must be activated prior to use and do not carry value until activated. Gift Cards are activated at the time of purchase. No fees will be imposed on purchasers of recipients of Gift Cards in connection with the sale of Gift Cards.
Gift Cards are a prepaid card, not a credit card or debit card. Gift Cards are issued in United States Dollars and are not redeemable for cash in any amount except when otherwise required by law.
Each transaction, including any applicable federal, state or local taxes, will be debited against your Gift Card balance. If a transaction exceeds the Gift Card balance, you must pay the remaining balance with another payment method.
Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, exchanged for any other gift card, used for payment outside of Participating Locations, or used for unauthorized advertising, marketing, sweepstakes, promotional or commercial purposes. You agree to not use Gift Cards in any manner that is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, unfair or otherwise harmful to Trailborn and its customers. Trailborn reserves the right, without notice to you, to void or deactivate Gift Cards without a refund, suspend or terminate Cardholder accounts, request alternative forms of payment, suspend or terminate the ability to purchase Gift Cards, cancel or limit orders, and bill alternative forms of payment if we suspect Gift Cards were obtained, used or associated with a Cardholder account unlawfully, fraudulently, or otherwise in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
You may not redeem a Gift Card if you are not the intended recipient. For example, you are the intended recipient if you received the Gift Card as a gift. You are not the intended recipient if you fraudulently deceived the purchaser into giving or selling you a Gift Card (even if they willingly do so at the time of transfer).
On you have used all of your Gift Card value, the Gift Card will become inactive.
5. Returns
You may not return or cancel your Gift Card after it is received.
6. Expiration
Gift Cards do not expire and there are no maintenance or inactivity fees.
7. Balance
You can check your gift card balance online by visiting the link provided in your confirmation email or by contacting our guest support team at support@trailborn.com or call 1-877-735-8044 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pmEST)
8. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Gift Cards
Neither Trailborn nor any of its affiliates is responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed Gift Card or if any Gift Card is used without your permission.
Lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards will be replaced only if previously registered on gifts.trailborn.com. If a Gift Card is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed you must immediately notify Trailborn by contacting Guest Support by email at support@trailborn.com or by phone at 1-877-735-8044 (Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time). Any value remaining on the registered Gift Card, at the time reported, will be returned to the registered owner on a new Gift Card. No refunds will be provided for amounts debited from your gift card before you notify Trailborn. You agree to give Trailborn all reasonable information to help make a complete investigation of the loss, theft or unauthorized use of the Gift Card.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the full extent permissible by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, with respect to gift cards, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the full extent permissible by law, in the event a gift card is non-functional, your sole remedy, and trailborn’s sole liability, will be the replacement of that gift card.
11. Choice of Law and Venue
Any disputes arising out of or related to the Gift Cards or these Terms and Conditions will be handled individually without any class action, and will be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflicts of law rules. The exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or action arising out of or relating to the Gift Cards or these Terms and Conditions may be filed only in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, United States.
12. Applicable Law
All Terms and Conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law. If any of these Terms and Conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that unenforceable term will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining Terms and Conditions.
